The Ministry of Environment, Range and Climate Change (MoERCC) is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the constitutional right of every person to live in and enjoy a clean, healthy, and ecologically balanced environment, and resilience against climate change, drought, and related disasters is achieved.
The Vision, Mission, and Core Values will be the guiding principles that will inspire the Ministry, and its stakeholders, while providing direction towards the strategic goals. The vision is a pre-requisite for effective strategic leadership while the mission is the overriding factor that gives the Ministry an identity and unique purpose. The core values inform decision-making through a common shared philosophy.

The Ministry of Environment, Resources Conservation, and Climate Change (MoERCC) is dedicated to safeguarding the natural environment and promoting sustainable development. Its mandate includes the formulation and implementation of policies aimed at conserving natural resources, mitigating climate change, and promoting environmental awareness and education.
