Our beloved Puntland is endowed with a rich natural heritage, diverse ecosystems, and resilient communities, all of which face significant environmental challenges due to climate change, land degradation, and unsustainable practices.
Our ministry is committed to spearheading initiatives that promote sustainability, enhance our adaptive capacities, and protect our environment for future generations. We understand the difficulties our communities face—from erratic weather patterns affecting our pastoral and farming livelihoods to coastal erosion impacting our fisheries. These are not just challenges; they are opportunities for us to unite, innovate, and forge a sustainable path forward.
