- Prepares and compiles soil and water conservation concerning reports.
- Supports the Ministry in designing, implementation and safeguarding water catchment protection measures.
- Assist in the formulation of policies, legislations, standards, and plans for the development of Soil and water conservation in Puntland.
- Promotes the development and adaptation of appropriate water harvesting techniques and technologies
- Setting up field surveys to monitor and evaluate soil and water related project sites
